Soap Opera fans will instantly recognizeLinda Dano as the character Felicia Gallant on NBC's "Another World." Whatmany of her fans don't know however, is that the renown television and feature film actress is also a TV talk-show host, spokesperson, columnist, novelist and all around Renaissance woman. All this and more will be revealed when Linda takes center stage to answerquestions on NBC Online next Tuesday (Jan.21).Linda has played her role on "AnotherWorld" for more than twelve years and haswon the 1993 Daytime Emmy for BestActress.

So self-identified has she becomewith her character on the series that in1984 she "co-authored" Dreamweaver, aHarlequin Romance novel, together withFelicia Gallant. Longtime soap aficionados will rememberLinda from her prior soap incarnations when she appeared in CBS's "As The WorldTurns" and ABC's "OneLife To Live."Linda is also known to TV viewers as theformer host of Lifetime Network's"Attitudes," an interview program whichwas nominated for the Emmy and Cable Ace awards. Linda not only held lively interviews with celebrities on the show but also covered issues---such as health, nutrition and fashion ­ which were of vital concern to women around the country. Vogue magazine called it "the show to watch" and it was even spoofed by "Saturday Night Live!"

Another way fans might be familiar with Linda is through her presence on the Silver Screen. Her modeling career resulted in a three-year contract with 20th Century-Fox Studios where she appeared in films such as "Hello Dolly," "The Boston Strangler," "Tony Rome," "Wishbone Cutter" and "Star." Made-for-TV movie credits include "The Nurse Killers," "Rage of Angels: The Story Continues," "The Last Survivors," "The War of the Worlds,""Perry Mason: The Case of the Killer Kiss," and "When The VowsBrea k."

What else has Wonder Woman Linda been up to? Now in its second decade of operation, Strictly Personal, her fashion-consulting business, selects complete wardrobes in line with each client's taste and personality. Linda has designed a clothing-accessories line for QVC. The QVC Network's program "Putting It Together with Linda Dano" is now in its third year and is geared towards cost conscious women who thrive on style, quality, and variety in their fashion selections. Her latest book, which covers elements of fashion and style, will be released by Putnam/Berkley in 1997.
